Three Cooks, a fast food and bakery retail organisation, asked The Consultancy Company to help improve its profitability by re-engineering its cost base by creating and implementing integrated purchasing, warehousing and distribution processes. This resulted in the total cost of delivered product falling from 16.6% to 11% of turnover. Full transition from old systems to new were achieved within three months with significant cost savings generated from day-one. Delivery frequency to most stores was increased to daily with resultant decrease in storage space, increase in in-store sales area and improved product freshness. Read more
