A major supplier of highly accurate sensors that measure flight critical systems on commercial aircraft needed to reduce its costs. The Consultancy Company found them a partner in China to produce parts to meet the stringent requirements of safety and traceability required in the aviation industry. The UK client achieved cost savings of between 45% - 60% on the initial parts sourced. Their team was fully trained in how to identify, assess, choose and manage vendors in China. Read more

 

Establishing a WFOE in China

A global supplier of aircraft interiors with manufacturing bases in Europe and the US, recognised it was under increasing pressure to reduce costs, improve after sales support and increase profitability. The Consultancy Company was asked to establish a low cost manufacturing operation in China to support all companies making up the client Group. This resulted in a fully operational spares and after sales support organisation with a business license to allow expansion into manufacturing. This was located in the geographic zone of the client’s choice and with processes developed in conjunction with local authorities to allow the spares unit to operate alone until it could be integrated into a larger manufacturing unit.
