NHS Continuing Care

Implementing changes which have arisen as a result of the national framework on NHS continuing care is a major challenge faced by many PCTs.

Our team of health and social care consultants have extensive knowledge in this field. This dates back to the first Department of Health guidance in 1995 and the first set of published criteria locally in 1996.  Since then we have helped numerous PCTs and Strategic Health Authorities to implement and/or review their criteria and operational arrangements, including the national framework which was introduced in October 2007.

The updated framework (due to be published in June 2009) will provide a new set of challenges; our consultants will be ready and prepared to provide training and operational support to those dealing with these new changes.
